Paul Adams
Paul has worked within the healthcare industry since 1981. He spent the first 14 years of his career working in a variety of operational and managerial positions for HMOs, IPAs, MSOs, Hospitals and Integrated Delivery Networks. These roles included Claim and Audit Manager, Director of Operations and Principal of a managed care MSO. He continues to provide business advisory services within the industry and is frequently retained as an industry expert witness in complex payor and provider disputes.
As part of his litigation support work, Paul is regularly retained as an expert witness by both defense and plaintiffs’ counsel in medical malpractice and personal injury litigation matters. He specializes in the reconciliation of the plaintiffs’ historical provider billings and payments and the valuation of all unpaid bills and any future medical services included in a life care plan.
